citycelebrations is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1985 under the name Downtown Presents, Inc. Our mission is to energize downtown and unite Richmond, Virginia, through festivals and events.

When you attend a citycelebrations event, you are supporting the cultivation of arts and entertainment in our downtown community. Not only are event proceeds benefiting citycelebrations, but they also are going directly to many nonprofit organizations in the metropolitan Richmond area. Without the assistance of these nonprofit volunteer groups, many of our events simply could not take place.
