CITY BEER AND SEAFOOD FESTIVAL
- June 10, 2006
Discover for yourself the
difference between lager, ale and stout at the River City Beer and
Seafood Festival. The event features imported and craft-brewed beer,
great seafood and live music on Brown's Island.

CARIB FEST - August, 2006
Vendors,
artists and performers with a Caribbean flair take you away to the
Islands "Mon" for a great afternoon of fun. You'll enjoy traditional
tasty treats, handmade crafts and fashions that will take you away
to the laid back vibe of the Caribbean.

SECOND STREET FESTIVAL - October 6 - 8, 2006
The hands of time are
turned back to the past when 2nd Street was the heart of Richmond's
African-American community. Come and taste delicious food, hear
live jazz and gospel music and shop in the marketplace.

NATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL - October 13- 15, 2006
The National Folk Festival
is a large-scale FREE three day event on the banks of the beautiful
James River in Downtown Richmond, VA. The festival features over
25 of the nation's finest performing groups and crafts people, seven
stages of continuous music and dance, craft exhibits and demonstrations,
a Folk Arts Marketplace, children's area and delicious regional
and ethnic foods. Over 80,000 gathered in 2005 to celebrate the
roots, richness and variety of American culture through music, dance
traditional crafts, storytelling and food.
