2) Where can I stay overnight?
There are many hotels downtown; here are just a few located within a mile or two of the Canal Walk and Brown's Island:

3) It's raining. Does the show go on?
Our events go on, rain or shine. Bring your rain poncho and enjoy the festivals.

4) What can I bring with me?
Items that are not permitted include, but are not limited to:

Pets (service animals are permitted)
Large backpacks, bags, coolers
Alcohol
Bottles/glass containers
Contraband (drugs and weapons)
Laser Pointers
Bikes, Skateboards, Inline Skates
Flying objects - Kites, Frisbees, Footballs, etc..
Security is on site at each festival and all items are subject to search at anytime.

Recording Equipment (audio and video), cameras(video and flash) MAY be restricted at certain events at the request ot the artist(s).

5) Can I bring a blanket or lawn chair?
Yes, please make yourself comfortable.

6) Is there an ATM on the site?
No. The closest ATM is in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located near the corner of 5th and Canal, about 5 blocks away. There is also an ATM located at First Market Bank, near the Canal Turning Basin at Virginia and Canal streets.

7) Are there bathrooms?
Yes, there are portable toilets located throughout the site, including handicapped bathrooms and hand sanitizers.

8) Is smoking allowed?
Yes, but please help us keep the site clean, remember to dispose of cigarette butts and other trash in the proper receptacles.

9) Can I leave the event and come back?
Yes. Re-entry is acceptable at all free events.

10) Will I have fun?
ABSOLUTELY. Enjoy all that downtown Richmond has to offer!
